1. Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
Behold, darkness will cover all,
but the Lord will shed his light;
his glory will be seen.

2. Uplift your eyes around,
and see nations gather in God's name
to bring good news for all.
For those who shall oppose his name
will be stricken and brought low;
to serve in deference.

3. Redeemer, saved by the love of God;
Blessed with righteousness and peace,
You'll praise his holy name.
The sun shall be no more required,
nor the brightness of the moon.
The Lord shall be your light!
