"Among the Thorns- Pillar Church" is a collection of songs inspired by a conversation with The Porter's Gate Project (www.portersgateworship.com).

These songs find their genesis in a wide swath of influences from scripture, to old grange texts, ancient prayers, modern hymns, and the local congregational context. Their goal is to broaden the language of worship music - to introduce themes of work, justice, and vocation that help believers connect their workday lives with the work of the Kingdom of God.
