From Karin: "Justin and I have been writing together for several years. As worship leaders desiring to bring the word of God to our churches, we’ve written songs from scripture, songs for communion, songs of lament and songs of joy. It’s our belief that getting the viewpoint of both men and women is vital in understanding the bigger picture of God’s heart for his people. When we were asked to write for this project, Psalm 112 just naturally felt like it needed to be a gospel song. The refrain came easily out of verse 6 and then we told the surrounding story easily. We are so thankful for this opportunity to not only be able to write together again, but to write something that our churches will be able to sing that’s straight from scripture!"
